MSI cements NVIDIA partnership with first RTX Spark laptop

MSI is stepping into a new type of partnership with its latest laptop launch at COMPUTEX 2026.

The company introduced the Prestige N16 Flip AI+, which is its first portable machine developed directly in collaboration with NVIDIA. This premium thin-and-light convertible is built around a new processor platform called NVIDIA RTX Spark, a “superchip” released also at COMPUTEX.

The main goal of this hardware combination is to give digital creators, software developers, and gamers access to full-scale graphics and artificial intelligence capabilities without sacrificing the long battery life usually expected from a portable device.

The most impressive part of the hardware is its 16-inch UHD+ display, which uses an advanced technique called Tandem OLED. This screen design stacks two separate organic light-emitting layers on top of each other. By sharing the workload between two layers, the display can reach a very bright peak of over 1000 nits while actually using less power and lasting longer over years of use. It also covers the full cinema-grade color spectrum, carries a factory color calibration guarantee, and features a variable refresh rate to keep animations perfectly smooth whether you are editing a video timeline or playing a game.

Because it uses a 360-degree flip design, the laptop can easily transform into a tablet, a tent for viewing, or a standard clamshell computer depending on where you are working.

Given the small frame and power on tap, we’re sure thermals would be a realistic concern. MSI has added a vapor chamber cooling system to the Prestige, with assurances that the fans won’t get too loud in everyday use.

It also includes a lightweight active stylus called the MSI Nano Pen for drawing and sketching, which conveniently slides into a built-in storage slot underneath the chassis so you do not lose it on the road.

Other notable features include a specialized touchpad that supports custom gesture controls, a massive 99.9Wh battery to max out airline travel limits all while providing 24 hours of battery life (advertised), a quad-speaker setup for richer audio, and WiFi 7 connectivity.
