Alcatel's water-resistant device donning vibrant colors called the OneTouch Go Play is now available in the country. First announced in September last year, the Go Play packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 CPU, 1GB RAM, LTE connectivity, and Android Lollipop right out of the box. We just got our review unit of the BlackBerry Playbook today and we got word that Globe has taken lead on the release of the tablet in the Philippines with a possible launch date later this month or early next month. It certainly will not be locked considering there's no SIM module on the Playbook. What we are sure is that Globe will be the one who will announce the availability of the BlackBerry Playbook in the Philippines. Expect our full review of the Playbook in a week or two. Up front, the phone features a flat 6.9-inch LTPO OLED flat display, a variable refresh rate from 1- to 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 3500 nits. One of the main highlights is the “Alive Matrix Display” rear lighting consisting of 177 Mini LED beads.
