This was signed with OneWeb Network Access Associates Limited, a broadband satellite communications company in London. DITO has mentioned that they are talking to other satellite companies and their offers. One type of satellite is an Earth-orbiting or geostationary satellite, which is positioned at an altitude of roughly 35,800 km. In contrast, a LEO satellite is typically positioned at an altitude of about 1,000 km. There are currently 648 satellites in OneWeb, arranged in 12 coordinated orbital planes 1,200 km above the planet. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has recently announced on his Facebook page that the company will be launching a satellite into orbit to provide internet access in remote regions in the planet.
