Kickstart Ventures Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Globe Telecom has recently invested $100K dollars or more than Php4M in startup online learning platform Kalibrr. Kalibrr is an online learning platform that is designed to help Filipinos qualify and land jobs in the local business process outsourcing (BPO) industry. Once users complete the online program (some of their graduates completed it in a week), Kalibrr refers them to its partner companies for a job interview. And since it is an online platform, you can attend the program at home or at an internet cafe. The company said the move aims to help Filipino households deal with rising expenses and the ongoing energy crisis by making remote work, online learning, and digital activities at home more efficient. The 100 Mbps option is suited for daily use like video calls, streaming, and online classes. The 300 Mbps plan is designed for homes with many users, such as families who stream, play online games, and work at the same time. PLDT said the goal is to give households more reliable and flexible internet as more daily activities move online. Read more in our articles including "Sen.
