OPPO has recently unveiled a self-developed high-precision positioning algorithm that will allow the mobile phone navigation system to provide accurate location within a one-meter radius.   This initiative aims to help users get an improved navigation system both for indoor and outdoor uses. The company brings in the RTK technology to smartphones to complement its current positioning technology. The RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) positioning technology is based on carrier phase measurement that processes the data obtained between measuring stations in real-time to deliver accurate positioning. Moving forward, OPPO has developed an algorithm that utilizes information from existing mobile phone sensors, including accelerometers and gyroscopes, to enhance positioning accuracy and lessen the effect of signal interference.
