#Oxford Dictionary New Words

In keeping with its quarterly tradition of adding new words in to its online dictionary, Oxford University has recently included words like Phablet and Selfie to their list, complete with definition, of course. There are other equally amusing terms like “Twerk” that are not our list but made its way on Oxford’s dictionary. For a full rundown of all the new words, you can check out the source link below. Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary is now on its 11th edition and they have added new words including selfie, hashtag, and tweep among other things. There are a total of 150 new words and phrases that have been added to the latest edition of Merriam-Webster’s dictionary. But one of the new words that caught our attention is “ “turducken” – a boneless chicken stuffed into a boneless duck stuffed into a boneless turkey.
