OnePlus has officially announced its OxygenOS 15 based on the latest Android 15. In this new iteration, OnePlus pays subtle homage to the old glory days of OxygenOS. OxygenOS 15 brings back the signature black, white, and red theme, aptly named ‘two-tone’ theme — apparent in the Settings icons and the control panel. Speaking of the control panel, in OxygenOS 15, the notifications panel and the quick settings panel are now separate. This isn’t new on OxygenOS but previous iterations have the pill-shaped dynamic notification on the left rather than integrated into the notch. Lastly, they reduced the system footprint by 20% — over 5GB less — making OxygenOS 15 lighter (in storage) as compared to previous iteration.
