#OxygenOS update

Before the OnePlus 8 launch, OnePlus has launched a new Ideas beta program to allow its customers and fans to suggest new features to be added to OxygenOS. OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 16 to more of its smartphones and tablets. OxygenOS 16, OnePlus's latest software update based on Android 16, has rolled out to more of the brand's devices. The update is now being delivered to the following models: OnePlus Open OnePlus 13 OnePlus 13R OnePlus 13S OnePlus 12 OnePlus 12R OnePlus 11 OnePlus 11R OnePlus Nord 5 OnePlus Nord 4 OnePlus Nord 3 OnePlus Nord CE 5 OnePlus Pad 3 OnePlus Pad 2 OxygenOS 16 brings enhanced AI tools like writing, note-taking, and document scanning. OnePlus users of the mentioned devices should check their system settings under Software Update to see if OxygenOS 16 is available. However, that “Ultra Extreme” graphics option is yet to come in October 2026 in a future update of the said title. OnePlus also addressed how the transition from OxygenOS to ColorOS 17 will affect its software going forward. Users with eligible OnePlus devices will have the option to voluntarily update to ColorOS 17 once OnePlus officially releases it.
