Companies such as Lenovo and HP saw a decline in shipments while Dell, Apple, and other brands barely saw any growth in sales year-on-year. Lenovo maintained its lead in the global PC market in Q1 2022 with a 23.1% share, which was down a little compared to 2021. The company saw a 16% YoY decline in shipments largely due to Chromebook losing momentum and consumer demand weakness.
