Sony is reportedly reconsidering its strategy of bringing major PlayStation titles to PC. Other internally developed PlayStation games may also remain console exclusive moving forward. Games like Marathon will continue launching on platforms beyond PlayStation following the success of Helldivers 2 on PC. The shift reportedly comes after weaker sales of some PlayStation titles on Steam. There are also concerns that releasing games on PC could reduce the value of PlayStation hardware. The report suggests the company may focus more on keeping its major single player games exclusive to PlayStation consoles. Rockstar Games has announced that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) will officially begin on June 25 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Players can already add GTA VI to their wishlist on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store to receive notifications once pre-orders go live.
