Apple has announced its latest update to Apple Podcasts. It will introduce video podcast support starting this spring. Apple Podcasts will have videos in them this spring. With this, users can switch between listening and watching podcasts within the app. Video podcasts will also appear in recommendations, category pages and editorial sections alongside audio podcasts. Podcast creators will manage their own content and monetization through supported hosting platforms with options for dynamic video ads. Apple’s podcast catalog is available across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, CarPlay, Vision Pro and on their website.
