If you've been following Razer for the past years, then you're familiar with the company's concept projects and all of them are named after a person. Backtracking on Razer's Projects, we have the Fiona gaming tablet in 2012, the Christine modular PC in 2014, then recently at CES 2017, the Ariana multi-monitor gaming notebook and Valerie video projection system. The next time Razer reveals another project, it will be cool to know that it's actually named after someone special. Along with Project Valerie, Razer has also announced a new product for a more immersive gaming experience - the Project Ariana video projection system. Project Ariana, in essence, is a projector powered by Razer Chroma, the company's RGB platform for gaming, and developed together with Philips Lighting. To give gamers that immersive gaming experience, Project Arianna communicates with games in real time to create lighting and video effects which are then projected to your room. It does this by automatically scanning your room using a pair of 3D cameras then adjusts the projection based on the room's size and dimensions. "Project Ariana is a concept design that showcases the power and potential of the Razer Chroma platform in the pre-VR world in bridging the gap between gamers and games," says Razer Co-Founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan.
