Bumped into Art Samaniego of Manila Bulletin during the Nokia N82 Adventure II launch this afternoon and he casually mentioned that there's a new Canon Lens Sale promo going on at Digital Zone. True enough, the prices from previous lens sale was pulled down a bit more, plus a couple new models. Sony also shared that physical game discs accounted for only 5% of its game software revenue during the fiscal year that ended in March, while digital sales made up the majority of purchases. Sony said the decision was made in response to changing consumer habits, with digital purchases now accounting for the majority of PlayStation game sales. Industry data cited in reports show that digital game purchases have grown significantly over the past decade, rising from a small share during the PlayStation 4 era to nearly 80% of sales in 2025.
