#QR payment wearables

Huawei previously promised a convenient QR payment option via GCash for the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Series and other select wearables (initially released in Q4 2024). Now, that feature becomes more accessible as the brand will add ‘GCash Watch Pay’ to more HUAWEI wearables. As of writing, however, Huawei has yet to make a list of its wearables that will support the QR payment feature. The GCash Watch Pay essentially lets users pay directly using their HUAWEI wearables via a QR code. OPPO has announced that it now accepts GCash and Scan-to-Pay payment methods at its own branded kiosks and concept stores. Its QR payment system called Scan to Pay, on the other hand, was launched last October and allows for payment of just about anything at any merchant with GCash support as you scan QR codes posted inside the store. .Check out the OPPO stores that are available for GCash payments in this link here. Several companies, including GCash, Visa, and Mastercard, have shown interest in the Philippine government’s plan to create a single fare payment system for trains and other transport.
