Qualcomm has revealed the S7 and S7 Pro Gen 1 Sound platforms designed for speakers, headphones, and earbuds. This has been announced alongside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and Snapdragon X Elite. The Snapdragon S7 and S7 Pro Gen 1 sound platforms feature Bluetooth 5.4 and will deliver six times the compute power, providing a new tier of ultra-premium performance at low performance. Meanwhile, the S7 Pro Gen 1 will be the first to support Qualcomm Expanded Personal Area Network Technology (XPAN) and micro-power Wi-Fi connectivity with up to 192kHz support of lossless music quality. OnePlus has launched the Pad 3 Pro in China, featuring flagship performance and a large high-refresh-rate display. On board, it uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and OnePlus says it brings noticeable speed gains over the last generation. Available in Dark Brown and Light Green, the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro starts at CNY 4,400 (PHP 39,534.52) for the 12GB + 256GB variant.
