Qualcomm's upcoming flagship chip, the Snapdragon 845, is expected to be announced during the said event. Along with the new Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoC for wearables, Qualcomm also announced three new processors for mobile devices - the Snapdragon 625, 435 and 425. The three new Snapdragon processors support LTE connectivity with carreir aggregation, Snapdragon All Mode, 802.11ac with MU-MIMO, dual camera image signal processors (ISPs), Qualcomm TruSignal technology for improved call reliability, Qualcomm Hexagon DSP for power efficient audio with sensor hub, and Qualcomm Quick Charge. The Snapdragon 435 features an octa-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU, Adreno 505 GPU, and X8 LTE modem (4G+) with 2x20 MHz carrier aggregation. Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon C platform, a new processor designed for entry-level laptops priced starting at around USD 300. Qualcomm said laptops powered by Snapdragon C are expected to launch later this year from brands including Acer, HP, and Lenovo. Qualcomm has announced the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processors. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 includes AI-powered camera features, Qualcomm Adaptive Performance Engine 4.0 for gaming, up to 21% better GPU performanc, and support for Wi-Fi 7 and ultra-fast 5G connectivity.
