#Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G availability

Qualcomm has recently released its latest affordable 5G-ready chipset for smartphones, the Snapdragon 480 5G. The Snapdragon 480 5G Snapdragon X51 5G Modem-RF System supports mmWave and Sub-6 GHz 5G networks, global 5G coverage, and Wi-Fi calling with call continuity between LTE and Wi-Fi. The first smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 480 5G  coming from Nokia, OnePlus, OPPO, and vivo will be announced in early 2021. Qualcomm has announced the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processors. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 includes AI-powered camera features, Qualcomm Adaptive Performance Engine 4.0 for gaming, up to 21% better GPU performanc, and support for Wi-Fi 7 and ultra-fast 5G connectivity. According to Qualcomm, upcoming devices powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 will come from brands including HONOR and REDMI. Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon Wear Elite, a new processor designed for smartwatches and other wearable devices, bringing on-device AI features along with improved performance and battery life. According to Qualcomm, the Snapdragon Wear Elite offers up to five times faster CPU performance and up to seven times better graphics performance compared with the previous Snapdragon W5+ Gen 2 chip.
