#Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 release date

Aside from the new Snapdragon 7-series launch, Qualcomm recently announced that it would offer the first commercially deployable iSIM or integrated SIM on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. Qualcomm has announced that its annual Snapdragon Summit will take place from September 22 to 24, 2026, in Hawaii, where the company is expected to introduce its next-generation Snapdragon processors. Industry reports also suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series could be Qualcomm's first flagship mobile processors manufactured using a 2nm process, although the company has yet to confirm the manufacturing details or pricing. Qualcomm has announced the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processors. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 includes AI-powered camera features, Qualcomm Adaptive Performance Engine 4.0 for gaming, up to 21% better GPU performanc, and support for Wi-Fi 7 and ultra-fast 5G connectivity. According to Qualcomm, upcoming devices powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 will come from brands including HONOR and REDMI. On board, it uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and OnePlus says it brings noticeable speed gains over the last generation.
