#Qualcomm Snapdragon benchmarks

Qualcomm flew us to Maui, Hawaii for this year's Snapdragon Summit to take a closer look at their latest mobile and PC chipsets. A Qualcomm Reference Device (QRD) was provided for us to run a whole suite of benchmarks to demonstrate the performance of the chipset. Qualcomm has already increased the cost of some premium Snapdragon processors in recent years. Qualcomm has not announced which Snapdragon models will receive the largest increases. Qualcomm has announced that its annual Snapdragon Summit will take place from September 22 to 24, 2026, in Hawaii, where the company is expected to introduce its next-generation Snapdragon processors. While Qualcomm has not officially confirmed the products that will be unveiled during the summit, the Snapdragon Summit has traditionally served as the company's stage for introducing its flagship mobile platforms. Industry reports also suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series could be Qualcomm's first flagship mobile processors manufactured using a 2nm process, although the company has yet to confirm the manufacturing details or pricing. Qualcomm is expected to share additional details about the event as Snapdragon Summit 2026 draws closer.
