#qualcomm snapdragon x50 5g modem

The QTM052 mmWave antenna module paired with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X50 5G modem makes it possible to integrate mmWave signals in a smartphone despite the fact that it not used for mobile wireless connections due to complications with its design. The Qualcomm QPM56xx module family (QPM5650, QPM5651, QDM5650, QDM5652) allows smartphones with an integrated Snapdragon X50 5G modem to support the said spectrum band. Apart from the Snapdragon 636, Qualcomm also announced its new Snapdragon X50 5G modem chipset for mobile devices. The Snapdragon X50 5G modem achieved gigabit download speeds, using several 100 MHz 5G carriers, and demonstrated a data connection in 28 GHz millimeter wave (mmWave) spectrum. The Snapdragon X50 5G NR modem family is expected to launch on 5G smartphones and networks in the first half of 2019. Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon C platform, a new processor designed for entry-level laptops priced starting at around USD 300. Qualcomm said laptops powered by Snapdragon C are expected to launch later this year from brands including Acer, HP, and Lenovo. Qualcomm has announced the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processors.
