We just gave you a list of smartphones that feature Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 technology. This time, we list down handsets that carry an older, but still capable Quick Charge 2.0 which is still faster than regular charging tech. Qualcomm says that their recently announced Snapdragon 800 will also be equipped with Quick Charge 2.0 charging technology. Quick Charge is a feature of Qualcomm’s SoC that cuts down the time required for a device to be fully charged. The semiconductor company said that the first version of this radical charging technology (Quick Charge 1.0) is said to decrease the time a device needs to spend plugged in by 40% and is integrated to a total of 70 Snapdragon-powered gizmos. The upcoming Snapdragon 800 with Quick Charge 2.0, on the other hand, is said to lessen the charging time even more, by 75-percent to be exact. Much like the first generation charging technology, the Quick Charge 2.0 is embedded on both the device and the charger, which means that in order to fully utilize the feature; we’d need to use a Quick Charge 2.0 charger that’s bundled with our device. We can also use the 1.0 charger on a device with Quick Charge 2.0 or vice versa, but will only charge at a 1.0 rate.
