When the realme 7 Pro debuted last September 2020, it came with a design that was refreshing to see; a straightforward and well-rounded mid-range device with decent hardware specs. Now, the realme 8 Pro has officially launched in the country with a Snapdragon 720G Soc, a generous 8GB of RAM, and a whopping 108MP rear camera. Design and Construction For those who can still remember, Realme’s initial tagline was “Proud to Be Young'', up until they changed it about two years ago to what it is today. But even if they did change it, realme still has a way of making their phones feel, for lack of a better word, youthful. With a weight of 176 grams and a thickness of just 8.1 mm, we like how this feels in hand and is much more comfortable to hold compared to the realme 7 Pro. Display and Multimedia For display, the realme 8 Pro features a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Display and sports thin bezels with a little bit of a chin. It doesn’t officially say if this comes with the same Gorilla Glass 3 protection, but it does have a pre-installed screen protector. To top it all off, the realme 8 Pro comes with a 180Hz touch sampling rate, making this not only highly responsive to your finger but also gives a better edge when it comes to something like gaming—more on that in a bit.
