PLDT's partnership with Roku is now bearing fruit as the telco has announced the availability of its latest TVolution streaming box. The new TVolution streaming box, which seems like a modified Roku 2, will come with over 50 streaming channels including popular services such as Cignal, iflix, Netflix, and YouTube. The Roku Powered TVolution box and service will be available to all PLDT HOME Fibr, DSL, and Ultera customers starting May 2017 for an additional monthly service fee of Php299. Amazon may launch its satellite internet service, called Project Kuiper (also known as Amazon LEO), in the Philippines as early as this year, according to Henry Aguda. The DICT and CICC have stated that Roblox could face restriction or suspension in the Philippines. Failure to comply could lead to restrictions in the Philippines.
