Earlier this year, AMD released its new Ryzen 7000 series CPUs at CES 2023. Meet the new AMD Ryzen Mobile 7040U series processors. Unlike the standard 7000 series chipsets, the “U” in AMD Ryzen 7040U processors stand for “ultra-low power”, and they are designed mainly for thin laptops and other ultra-portable devices.
