With the arrival of the new Galaxy A Series (2017), Samsung has lowered the prices of the predecessors - Galaxy A7 (2016) and Galaxy A5 (2016). The Galaxy A Series 2016 launched in the country in April last year. The Galaxy A7 (2016) was originally priced at Php22,990 but is now down to Php18,990. The Galaxy A5 (2016), on the other hand, was priced at Php19,990 but is now at Php15,990. We have spotted the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) in a mall in Mandaluyong, carrying a price tag of almost Php20K. The Galaxy A5 (2016) is one of the three members of Samsung's Galaxy A-Series 2016 announced in December 2015. The other ones are the Galaxy A7 (2016) and the Galaxy A3 (2016). Well, it looks like Samsung is ready to come up with a competitor through the release of the Galaxy Glasses later this year.
