After countless rumors and leaks, Samsung has finally unveiled the new Galaxy Alpha; a 4.7-inch Android handset that runs on the company’s own octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM and is backed by six-core Mali-T628 GPU. As far as its design goes, the new Samsung Galaxy Alpha looks like a miniature Galaxy Tab S 8.4 with its thin body complete with metal trims around it and a perforated back panel. Well, it looks like Samsung is ready to come up with a competitor through the release of the Galaxy Glasses later this year. The Galaxy Glasses will run Samsung's in-house One UI XR. Both devices are expected to officially debut at Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event, which is heavily rumored for July 22, 2026, in London. The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G starts at Php 18,990 for the 6+128 GB variant and Php 21,990 for the 8+256 GB model. Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Book 6 Edge, its first laptop powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. The Galaxy Book 6 Edge comes with a 16-inch anti-reflective AMOLED screen, 1TB of storage and 16GB RAM, and Samsung is putting a big spotlight on what it calls its AI stuff, plus it claims as much as 22 hours of battery life, depending on use.
