Announced on the first week of January 2015, the Samsung Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7 will be released in the Philippines sometime end of February or first week of March. We had a short hands-on time with the E5 and E7 at the Samsung SEA Forum here in Bangkok last week. The Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7 are supposed to be a more affordable alternative to the premium-built Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7. With that, Samsung is using the usual polycarbonate materials on the Galaxy E5/E7. The Galaxy E series seems to be replacing the old Galaxy Grand series which features larger display screens and decent, entry-level hardware configuration. The design signature is very typical Samsung which makes it really hard to identify because they all look the same. The Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7 are expected to be released in the Philippines by the end of February with a suggested retail price of Php13,990 and Php15,990, respectively. As the pioneer in foldables, Samsung is expected to release a new version of its Fold and Flip devices on an annual basis.
