#Samsung Galaxy J series discontinued

The Samsung Galaxy J series is now officially discontinued after the continuous launch of its Galaxy A-series line up this year. The topic of discontinuing the Galaxy J series has been around since September 2018. However, thanks to an official video from Samsung Malaysia's YouTube channel, it is now confirmed that the series is dead but has now merged to the Galaxy A-series. Unfortunately, they didn't specify the reason why they stopped the J series, but based on the video, the company highlighted innovations and improvements that can be found in the Galaxy A-series. https://youtu.be/fLcbKe6xlvE Samsung is not yet done as they will be officially launching the Galaxy A70 and A80 today (April 10) in Thailand. Rather than launching a single, iterative device like always, latest supply chain leaks and FCC filings confirm that the tech giant will split the upcoming series into two distinct hardware tiers: the traditional Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and an all-new form factor dubbed the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide. Both devices are expected to officially debut at Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event, which is heavily rumored for July 22, 2026, in London. The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G starts at Php 18,990 for the 6+128 GB variant and Php 21,990 for the 8+256 GB model.
