SES and ComClark Network and Technology Corporation unveiled plans of providing Philippine educators with high-speed satellite-based internet across 2,000 remote schools in the hopes to improve the quality of teaching and learning across the country. Through the partnership, SES ComClark will gain Ku-band capacity from the SES-9 satellite forf voice, video, and data applications in order to connect, and simultaneously datacast educational materials and curriculum to participating public schools nationwide. The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) reported a significant decline in courier-related complaints, with cases dropping by nearly 88% following the rollout of its Oplan Bantay Padala initiative. Customers can expect faster complaint resolution and better protection in digital transactions, while riders and operators gain from reduced bureaucracy through streamlined processes and secure digital credentials.
