It rocks the new Cortex-X4 CPU that’s also found inside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (up to 3.3GHz), albeit with a lower max clock speed of up to 2.8GHz. It packs an Adreno 732 graphics unit, closer to the one inside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 than the baseline 7 Gen 3. The phone is slated to run on a Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 chipset, which should be announced next week. This is rumored to be the flagship Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (SM8635) SoC, slated to have a similar design to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 inclusive of a Cortex-X4 core. Qualcomm is also expected to introduce the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (SM7675) at the event. On board, it uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and OnePlus says it brings noticeable speed gains over the last generation.
