The next generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is set to be announced and launched on October 24, and now it has made an appearance on Geekbench along with the Samsung S24+. This gives it roughly a 20% gain on both parameters when compared to the previous generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and slightly on par with the A16 Bionic chip on the iPhone 14 Pro models. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is also said to feature the Adreno 750 GPU with a 50% boost in performance over the previous Adreno 740. On board, it uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and OnePlus says it brings noticeable speed gains over the last generation.
