#Snapdragon X Elite release date

Announced alongside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the Snapdragon Summit, Qualcomm reveals the Snapdragon X Elite - the company's computing processor. The Snapdragon X Elite has a Qualcomm Oryon CPU. Like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the X Elite is able to run generative AI models. The event is expected to feature the company's latest mobile chip announcements, including the anticipated Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. Industry reports also suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series could be Qualcomm's first flagship mobile processors manufactured using a 2nm process, although the company has yet to confirm the manufacturing details or pricing. On board, it uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and OnePlus says it brings noticeable speed gains over the last generation.
