#Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 launch

Qualcomm has unveiled their latest chipset for virtual reality headsets with the Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2. The Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 is a chipset for Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Mixed Reality devices. When compared to its predecessor, the XR2 Gen 2, the XR2+ Gen 2 supports 4.3K at 90 frames per second resolution with a 20% increased CPU and 15% higher GPU max frequency. OnePlus officially unveiled the OnePlus Pad 4 in India, carrying Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The device operates on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, which supports a maximum of 16GB RAM and 512GB storage capacity to provide users with flagship-level performance. Qualcomm has announced the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processors. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 includes AI-powered camera features, Qualcomm Adaptive Performance Engine 4.0 for gaming, up to 21% better GPU performanc, and support for Wi-Fi 7 and ultra-fast 5G connectivity. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 can deliver up to 77% better GPU performance and supports 90FPS gameplay which is a first for the first time in the Snapdragon 4 series.
