Qualcomm has unveiled their latest chipset for virtual reality headsets with the Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2. The Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 is a chipset for Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Mixed Reality devices. When compared to its predecessor, the XR2 Gen 2, the XR2+ Gen 2 supports 4.3K at 90 frames per second resolution with a 20% increased CPU and 15% higher GPU max frequency. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of storage. It comes with foldable features and an 8.75mm-thin folded build, plus a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 5G processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and an inner display measuring 7.95-inch LTPO OLED.
