Sony Electronics has announced at CES 2017 two new 4K HDR (High Dynamic Range) TVs that claims to deliver wide brightness range, higher contrast and spectacular picture quality - the flagship XBR-A1E BRAVIA OLED and XBR-X930E/X940E series. Sony XBR-A1E BRAVIA OLED Aside from the 4K HDR OLED display, one of the main features of the XBR-A1E is the Acoustic Surface sound technology which enables the entire screen to resonate sound. This allows Sony to drop conventional speakers usually located around the TV. Sony BR-X930E/X940E features: * Slim Backlight Drive+ with quad-edge LED * 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme * X-tended Dynamic Range PRO * TRILUMINOS Display * 4K X-Reality PRO * Ultra slim design * Flush swivel mount * Android TV * HDR with support for Dolby Vision HDR Pricing and availability of the new Sony 4K OLED TVs are yet to be announced. Sony finally lent me one of their limited Sony Vaio P to test out for a week. Sony has been taking it's time to get its own netbook out in the market and at the same time, criticizing other manufacturers for a mediocre product. Well, it looks like its own Sony Vaio Pocket netbook will be put to the test now that details have been leaked.
