Sony has announced today the Sony VAIO Duo 11, a hybrid ultrabook with a sliding LCD display that switches between slate and keyboard mode. The VAIO Duo 11 works both as a PC and tablet through the use Sony's new Surf Slider design. Based on the photos shown below, this 11-inch device (dubbed the Sony Vaio Duo 11) could be a hybrid Windows 8 tablet which Sony might unveil this week in IFA. Sony finally lent me one of their limited Sony Vaio P to test out for a week. Well, it looks like its own Sony Vaio Pocket netbook will be put to the test now that details have been leaked. Not that this is Sony' first but the Vaio P departs from the usual netbook form factor and cheap pricing by offering a pocket-sized version. The Sony Vaio P skipped the trackpad in favor of a pointing stick (nipple mouse) so they were able to save more space.
