PLDT Enterprise has officially partnered with Starlink to become the first telco in the Philippines authorized to resell its satellite internet service. By leveraging Starlink’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite technology, PLDT is expanding its reach and offering more resilient internet solutions. “Through the integration of Starlink, we are extending the reach and resilience of our connectivity solutions, especially in areas where traditional infrastructure is limited,” said Mitch Locsin, First Vice President and Head of Enterprise Core Business at PLDT and Smart. Nico Alcoseba, First Vice President and Head of Product Management and Global Capacity Strategy at PLDT Enterprise, also highlighted Starlink’s reliability. PLDT’s move to integrate Starlink into its enterprise offerings is a big step toward closing the digital divide in the Philippines. PLDT Enterprise continues to strengthen its position as a leader in innovative connectivity solutions through its highly successful collaboration with Starlink Corporate Broadband Services, further expanding reliable internet access to enterprises across the Philippines. The partnership officially began commercial operations in the second quarter of 2025, with PLDT Enterprise becoming the first — and currently the only — Philippine telco partner to offer enterprise broadband services in the country. By the first quarter of 2026 alone, PLDT Enterprise had already deployed nearly 1,000 Starlink broadband units to corporations, government institutions, logistics operators, energy companies, financial institutions, retail businesses, and organizations operating in geographically isolated and disaster-prone locations.
