Running SteamOS, the Steam Machine is built to deliver a console-like gaming experience while offering the flexibility of a PC. It also features a customizable LED status strip, built-in wireless pairing for up to four Steam Controllers and support for the new Steam Machine Verified program. Pre-orders for the Steam Machine 512GB with Steam Controller are now open through GameXtreme. Valve has confirmed its next wave of gaming hardware, announcing a new Steam Machine, a new Steam Controller, and a new virtual reality headset called Steam Frame. The next-gen Steam Machine brings back Valve’s small gaming PC, which was first released 10 years ago. Alongside the device is the new Steam Controller, built for players who prefer a custom layout over a regular gamepad.
