Valve has announced that in the coming weeks, they will be launching not one, but two new Steam mobile apps. The first of which, mentioned in the title, is Steam Link. It allows gamers to play their entire Steam library on their Android or iOS-based devices, provided they are connected to a host PC via 5GHz network or wired ethernet connection. It is confirmed to support the Steam Controller, MFI controllers, and others. The other app is Steam Video, which is essentially just a video streaming app for the content currently available on Steam. Valve has confirmed its next wave of gaming hardware, announcing a new Steam Machine, a new Steam Controller, and a new virtual reality headset called Steam Frame. The next-gen Steam Machine brings back Valve’s small gaming PC, which was first released 10 years ago. While the original model faced mixed reception, Valve says the new version aims to offer a more flexible option for players who want a compact PC-console setup.
