Suzuki Philippines has finally launched the much-awaited all-new Dzire and Swift at the Marriott Hotel's Grand Ballroom in Pasay City. The new Dzire and Swift ride on their newest platform called "HEARTECT" which comprises a continuous frame that increases the stiffness of the body. Suzuki also adopted CVT's or continuously variable transmission for convenience and better fuel economy while still offering decent acceleration. The new Swift features a new design language. [table id=718 /] There are six colors available for the Swift -- Speedy Blue Metallic, Fervent Red, Pure White Pearl, Premium Silver Metallic, Mineral Gray Metallic and Super Black Pearl. Both the Swift and Dzire are powered by the same 1.2 liter engine with 82 hp and 113 Nm of torque. The 2019 Suzuki Swift is a cutely-aggressive looking subcompact hatch that handles like a dream. Under the hood, the fourth-generation Swift is rockin’ a K12M four-cylinder 1.2L engine, capable of outputting 82 horses at 6000 rpm, and a torque of 113 Nm at 4,200 rpm.
