Apple is close to making a deal to pay Google about $1 billion every year to use Google’s Gemini artificial intelligence model to improve Siri, according to a report from Bloomberg. The report says Apple’s current technology is not yet strong enough to handle the big features it wants to add to Siri. The deal is not final yet, and both companies are still working on details.
