ASUS and Republic of Gamers (ROG) are launching the ASUS ROG Grand Tech Fair 2025, a major holiday gadget sale happening from November 14, 2025 to January 15, 2026. The tech fair will also include mall caravans in six SM Cyberzone locations where shoppers can see devices in person, enjoy rebates of up to PHP 5,000, and receive event-only freebies. ASUS says this event gives users more ways to upgrade devices while enjoying extra rewards for the holiday season. Pasig Mega Market now has satellite-powered internet to support cashless payments under the Paleng-QR Ph Plus program of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and the Department of Information and Communications Technology. It aims to improve government services and strengthen the use of technology in disaster preparedness, climate action, and environmental monitoring. The Philippine Space Agency and the EU Delegation to the Philippines are leading the project together with the Department of Science and Technology, Department of Information and Communications Technology, and the Office of Civil Defense. The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has raised concerns over the future of its Land Transportation Management System (LTMS), citing unresolved cybersecurity issues and system deficiencies as the agency opposes a proposal to extend its contract with technology provider Dermalog. Dermalog had earlier sought support for an additional PHP 2.5 billion budget for upgrades to the LTMS, saying the funding would be used for cybersecurity improvements, fraud detection capabilities, and anti-corruption measures.
