IBM has unveiled the details of the upcoming IBM Telum Processor. Telum is IBM’s first processor that contains on-chip acceleration for AI inference while a transaction is taking place. The Telum Processor was in development for three years and aims to provide business insights at scale across banking, finance, training, insurance, and customer interactions, including preventing fraud in real-time. The completely redesigned cache and chip-interconnection infrastructure provides 32MB cache per core and can scale to 32 Telum chips. The Galaxy Watch9 comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes with the same processor and up to 1.47-inch Super AMOLED display reaching up to 3,000 nits. For both units, you can reach up to 100x digital zoom, and they are powered by the Kirin 9030S processor.
