Lenovo has just announced the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch - the touch-optimized, Windows 8-powered version of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon. For starters, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch has a 14.4-inch HD+ touchscreen display and is powered by either an Intel Core i5 or i7 processors. The Carbon Touch is also made of carbon fiber, has a thickness of 20.8mm, and weighs 3.4 lbs which Lenovo claims to be the world's lightest 14-inch Touch Ultrabook. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch starts with a price tag of $1,399 (around Php57,300) and is already on sale in the US. Lenovo has launched the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 Aura Edition in China, unveiled back in September during the IFA 2024, featuring PCIe 5.0 SSD technology for faster data transfer speeds.
