#TikTok users migration

It looks like TikTok users in the U.S are moving to RedNote, a Chinese application similar to the aforementioned app. REDnote is a Chinese application similar to TikTok where users can post either text, photos or videos on the platform. With the upcoming TikTok ban occurring in the United States, users have been downloading REDnote and posting there. There are over 10 million downloads for the Chinese application where users would use the hashtag “TikTok refugee”. TikTok is rolling out Shared Collections, a feature that lets users organize TikTok content together in one space, and is preparing to launch Shared Feeds for watching content based on shared interests. TikTok explains that Shared Collections make it easier for users to stay organized as they discover and save videos. TikTok is also adding greeting cards inside chats, letting users send short messages with festive animations. TikTok is adding a new toggle allowing users to set a limit on how much AI-generated content may appear on their feed or For You page.
