Tumblr says it is working to restore access for users in the Philippines. In a post on its official blog, Tumblr said the Philippine government has now moved to restore access after numerous users have reported the issue. According to the company, access for users in the Philippines should return soon if it has not already been restored. It stated that Tumblr was "not licensed by Philippine authorities." The message also included links to gambling websites approved by Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). The incident caused confusion among local users since Tumblr is primarily known as a blogging and social media platform and not related to online gambling services. Globe Prepaid and TM subscribers can access the service through a Globe Starlink promo starting at PHP 99, while Globe Platinum and Postpaid users with Plan 1499 and above can use it at no extra cost.
