u-Hop, a Filipino-owned transport network company (TNC), has announced its partnership with boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. mentioned that he first got interested investing in u-Hop because his personal assistant was from the Philippines. He also urged the people to use and download the u-Hop app. u-Hop called on other transport network vehicle services (TNVS) to apply for entry on its platform. As of now, u-Hop has 10,000 drivers, making it the second largest TNC next to Grab; however, only 1,000 drivers are active.
