Following the release of the Redmi Note 14 Series in India, Xiaomi introduces one of its thinnest power banks yet. Simply dubbed as the Xiaomi Ultra Slim Power Bank, it fits a 5000mAh battery capacity in a vessel measuring a mere 10mm thin and weighs only 93 grams. It utilizes lithium-ion cell with support for 18W input and 20W output via USB-C port. In China, the power bank retails for CNY 129 (~Php1,032). The International Civil Aviation Organization has approved new rules limiting power banks on flights to two per passenger and banning their use for charging during flights, which started on March 27, 2026. However, airline crew members may still carry and use power banks as part of their duties. Lithium batteries are commonly used in devices like phones and power banks, making them widely carried by passengers.
