The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) has announced 44 free online courses for 2025. These courses are available through the open university's MODeL (Massive Open Distance eLearning) platform, and students can take them at their own pace throughout the year. Apple Creator Studio has a price tag of PHP 399 per month or PHP 3,990 per year in the Philippines. Kalibrr is an online learning platform that is designed to help Filipinos qualify and land jobs in the local business process outsourcing (BPO) industry. It is co-founded in January 2012 by UC Berkeley graduates Paul Rivera and Dexter Ligot-Gordon and is composed of talents from the Philippines and around the world. Once users complete the online program (some of their graduates completed it in a week), Kalibrr refers them to its partner companies for a job interview. And since it is an online platform, you can attend the program at home or at an internet cafe. At present, Kalibrr is focused on getting users call center jobs in Metro Manila but will soon cater to companies in other industries, and expand to other provinces in the Philippines and abroad.
