 Apple just dropped the newest watchOS version — now called watchOS 26 — during its WWDC 2025 keynote, spotlighting a stunning visual overhaul and smarter, fitness-first features backed by Apple Intelligence. This is a bold move to unify its software look across devices and take wearable smarts to the next level.  What's new in watchOS 26? Say goodbye to flat interfaces — watchOS 26 introduces Liquid Glass, Apple’s semi-translucent, real-time-reflective UI language now across the Apple ecosystem. Plus, watchOS 26 adapts call and notification volumes based on ambient noise levels for more intuitive alerts.  The Workout app gets a facelift with corner shortcuts for quick access to custom workouts, pacing, and routes. Note: Apple Intelligence features like Workout Buddy, Live Translation, and Smart Stack hints require Apple Watch Series 9/10/Ultra 2 and a supported iPhone.  watchOS 26 pushes Apple Watch deeper into smart assistance and customization. The new Liquid Glass revamp gives the UI a modern, unified look across devices, while the AI-fueled Fitness and Lifestyle features—especially Workout Buddy—bring health tracking closer to real coaching. Garmin said the watches include health and wellness features such as sleep tracking, HRV status, and training readiness metrics, providing users with deeper insights into their overall fitness and recovery. The card features 32GB of GDDR7 memory on a 512-bit memory interface and supports NVIDIA DLSS 4 technologies.
