Meta has released an official WhatsApp app for compatible Garmin smartwatches. The app is now available for free through the Garmin Connect IQ Store. Users can also accept or decline incoming WhatsApp calls from their smartwatch. Messages remain end-to-end encrypted, consistent with WhatsApp’s security features. The app is currently supported on select Garmin models, including devices from the Forerunner, Venu, Vivoactive, and Fenix series. This marks another expansion of WhatsApp to wearable platforms.
